As a Tax Analyst, you will join the team responsible for all aspects of income tax compliance, position management, and audit support. In addition to other projects which may become available, you will also assist with:
 

  • Ensuring U.S. federal income tax compliance, including workpaper preparation and review, consolidation of multiple entities, foreign compliance, development of summaries of information supporting certain deductions and credits, as well as identification of tax planning opportunities throughout the process
  • Handling state and local income, franchise, annual report, and other compliance filings
  • Supporting federal, foreign and state audits, as needed
  • Supporting FAS109 reporting through, return to provision analysis and other supporting schedules
  • Tracking tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's effective tax rate
  • Coordinating with appropriate accounting personnel to obtain required information

Working with and supporting all members of the Tax Group in meeting our compliance requirements

Work Experience/Skills Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in tax compliance
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting theory to ascertain potential tax ramifications of complex business transactions
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest and aptitude for project management
  • Strong compliance orientation
  • Strong desire to create value within the role and responsibilities assigned
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated workpaper documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills


Work Experience/Skills Preferred:

  • Previous major CPA firm or large multi-national corporation experience.


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited school


Education Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Taxation from an accredited school
  • CPA Certification
