CDI is looking for a qualified External Reporting Manager to join our Finance team at our office in Center City Philadelphia.

This role is responsible for the preparation of the CDI consolidation and internal financial statements in accordance with GAAP, external reporting and periodic filings with the SEC (10-Q, 10-K, 11-K and drafts) and providing technical guidance on accounting and reporting issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monthly consolidation including consolidated balance sheet analysis
- Support for quarterly preparation of press release and supporting financial tables
- Quarterly preparation of SEC form 10-Q and all supporting data, including cash flow statement
- Annual preparation of SEC form 10-K, 11-K and all supporting data, including cash flow statement
- Ongoing research of SEC/GAAP reporting issues as needed
- Participate in ongoing “close the books” process improvement for CDI
- Manage all accounting and reporting requirements related to (a) consolidation accounting, including investment in subsidiary accounts, retained earnings and equity roll forwards, (b) stock based compensation (FAS 123R) and (c) foreign currency translation (FAS 52)
- Coordinate all external reporting requirements and deliverables related to the annual audit and quarterly reviews by the external accounting firm
- Miscellaneous ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
Minimum Requirements/Preferences:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting
- Current CPA license required
- 6-9 years of experience with 3-5 years of relevant SEC/financial statement reporting
- Public accounting experience a must
- Competency in Microsoft Office, proficiency in financial systems with Cognos Finance knowledge a plus Good communication and people skills
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment
